Dr Frans van der Zee is deputy director of SEOR. He has 21 years of experience in applied economics research, in both scientific and advisory contexts. He recently joined forces with SEOR, where he – apart from his managerial tasks and responsibilities - is responsible for one of SEOR’s core area sectors and innovation. His main specialisations are public sector economics, welfare economics and cost-benefit analysis, market regulation and competition policy, sectoral innovation, and European integration. Van der Zee has a PhD in new political economy of Wageningen University and is a graduate of NAKE (Netherlands PhD Network of Quantitative Economics).
