Willem Cornelissen joined SEOR B.V. in June 2001. He has worked for the United Nations, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Netherlands Economic Institute predominantly in the area of rural economics and planning. Since 1991 he has specialised in monitoring and evaluation of development assistance, at project, programme and policy levels. As a public administrator he is focused on institutional economics and capacity building. His world-wide experience concentrates in Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa.
