From the beginning of 2005 ISEO, the Institute for Socio-Economic Research, has become part of SEOR and it is known as SEOR-ISEO.
In the past, ISEO focused mainly on the social position of minorities. SEOR-ISEO is continuing this type of research and has taken over the management of the SPVA-files (obtained from extensive questionnaires among minorities). But it is SEOR-ISEO’s ambition to broaden this to the wider perspective of social economics. Issues in the field of social inequality are the central points in this respect.
In this area there is a close collaboration with Prof. Dr. J. Veenman (capacity group Applied Economics within the Erasmus School of Economics).
